Duties & Responsibilities:
A naturopathic treatment practitioner is a type of health care provider who treats patients using a system of medicine that is based on the healing power of nature. Like contemporary medical doctors, naturopathic treatment practitioners identify, diagnose, and treat patients for their conditions and illnesses.
Salary: $71,620
Education:
In order to be a licensed Doctor of Naturopathy or Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, students must complete a 4 year, graduate-level program accredited by the Council On Naturopathic Medical Education. The first two years of a naturopathic medical degree are the same as for traditional medical students.
Demand:
A recent survey noted that more than a third of consumers use CAM, and that Americans reportedly spent close to $34 billion on CAM in 2007, a 26 percent increase from an estimated $27 billion ten years earlier.

Reflection:
I would like to become a ND because it's a growing job and it pays good. I would like to see how nature would heal people and you only need 4 years of college.
