Duties & Responsibilities:
On the job, mental health counselors work with individuals, groups and communities to improve mental health. Encourage clients to discuss emotions and experiences. Examine issues including substance abuse, aging, bullying, anger management, careers, depression, relationships, LGBTQ issues, self-image, stress, etc.
