"Choosing the wrong will never lead to right"

                                                                                                              -Carlos Delgado
This quote was made by me and I'm proud of it. What this quote means is that you will never feel right or get right out of something wrong. By doing something wrong its already bad and that's exactly how you'll feel. If you choose the right, you'll feel right. If you choose the wrong, you'll feel wrong. Its as simple as that. For example if you find a wallet and dont return it, there no good out of that. You'll feel wrong for a long time. However, if you choose the right, it's impossible for you to feel bad.

"Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy."

                                                                                                                -David Bednar
What this quote means to me is that to be happy you need to obey. By obeying you do the right and when you do the right, you feel good. Doing the right will never make you feel wrong, its impossible. Choosing the wrong will always make you feel bad and this quote says that. To be happy you need to choose the right and obey. It also means that obedience is crucial to be happy and one of the most important things to be happy.

"Choosing the right is always the right thing to do."

                                                                                                                   -Alex Linares
What this quote means to me is that choosing the right will never be wrong. Choosing the right will always do you right and not wrong. By doing the right, you are not doing wrong so it cant be wrong. What this also means is doing the right will never make you feel wrong. Doing the right only makes you feel good. I think this is a great lesson and people can learn a lot from it.

"What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player."

                                                                                                                -John Wooden
What this quote means to me is that being a better person is better than being a good basketball player. Its better to lose a game but be a good person than to lose one by having bad sportsmanship. Although this quote was about basketball it applies to all sports. If you are a good person and not do the wrong you'll be happy. If you are a bad sport and cheat your way through basketball you feel bad. You will also get caught eventually and regret what you did. So this quote means a lot about being a good sport.

"True wealth is of the heart, not of the purse"

                                                                                                               -Pathros
What this quote means to me is that the true richness comes from your heart. If you are rich by you're wallet but are cruel you aren't really rich. You will have a life of boredom and depression. Being rich from the heart is all you need because you will lead a happy life. If a homeless person gives the most he can he is happy. If a rich person is snobby and uptight what is the point of having the riches? So this quote means a lot.

"You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible."

                                                                                                                    -Ezra T. Benson

What this quote means is that by doing bad you cant feel good. By doing bad you feel bad, and by doing good you feel good. Doing anything bad will make you feel bad whether its something big or small. Many people have tried to prove this law wrong and failed because when you do bad, you feel bad. By choosing the right you are making yourself and maybe others feel good. Doing bad will also affect others around you such as your parents and teachers. Choose the right 100% of the time and you will feel good 100% of the time.

"When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad."

                                                                                                   -Abraham Lincoln
What this quote means to me is that doing the right will make you feel good. But by doing  the wrong it will make you feel bad. It makes you feel good because by doing the right you feel better inside. Doing the wrong makes you feel bad because you know what you did was wrong. Say your mom says to be home right after school and you got there right on time, you feel good and you might get something out of it. If you go around 5 or 6 because you went to eat with your friends she will get mad and start picking you up from school. Plus, you feel bad inside and you regret what you did.

"The key to freedom is obedience. The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have"

                                                                                                             -Boyd K. Packer
What this means to me is that if you obey you will have freedom.Freedom is not aquired easily so this quote means alot.Freedom has to be earned wether its with your parents or at school. By obeying you are gaining trust and if they trust you, you will have freedom. So with more obedience the more trust you gain and that will gain you more freedom. By being obedient gives more perks like going out later and being able to go out with your friends. If you choose the right you will have more freedom to do what you want to do

Remembering 9/11

On September 11, 2001, 19 militants with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out suicide attacks hitting the twin towers. This attack shocked millions of people and is still talked about today. This was a tragedy that should have never happened. The twin towers collapsed and many people were jumping off the side of the building in hopes of surviving. I am writing this in memory of 9/11.

Thomas S. Monson Story

When Thomas S. Monson was 8 he wanted to make a campfire with his friend. He wanted an easier way to pull some grass so he decided to get some matches. Thinking it was going to extinguish by itself, he threw one in the tall grass. He was being disobedient and learned a valuable lesson that that. That "Obedience is the great test of life."

Student Success Statement #2

"Obedience is the great test of life"

                                                                                                     -Thomas S. Monson

I think this means that no matter what, obedience is the one thing were always tested on. I think life will keep testing you on your obedience. Obedience is a very big part of life because you will always have a boss no matter what. Keeping this quote in mind is crucial because things like disobedience will get you fired from a job. Obeying is very important whether its obeying your parent, teachers, or boss. Obedience has its place in life and can be very important. Being obedient doesn't need to be dull it may also come with perks.

"Education is the latch key to success in life"

                                                                                                -Gordon B. Hinckley
This quote by Gordon B. Hinckley is very important. What I think this means is that it opens the door to many prestigious jobs. Education is one of the most important things in life. If you dont have an educations there's few to no jobs that will hire you. Without education jobs can be very hard to find due to there being so many jobs that require you to have some sort of degree. Many people end up working at McDonald's and even that requires a GED now. Although you may think its useless now education is very important to your adult life.
