What this quote means to me is that doing the good thing and important thing make you a ctr person. A good person will never do the dishonorable. Will never do the unfair and wont choose the wrong. Doing the right is more important of the outcome of a game or a test. It is better to fail a test without cheating than pass by cheating. Same goes with a game of basketball or any situation that has winners and losers.

       What this quote means to me is that no policy is like honesty. Honesty will always be the best policy. Honesty prevent you from doing the wrong. If you are honest 100% of the time, you are choosing the right 100% of the time. Being honest takes guts and not all people can do it. Honesty is never lying, never committing treason and no cheating. Honesty is telling you're mom you'll get home at 7:00 and actually get there at 7:00. Dishonesty is lying and getting there at 9:00. Honesty is not only a good policy but the best.

Veterans Day

What is Veterans Day:

Veterans day is a public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of World War I (November 11) to honor US veterans and victims of all wars.

When is Veterans Day: November 11

Purpose:

This day is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which ended the World War I hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in 1918. Veterans are thanked for their services to the United States on Veterans Day.

Why it’s important:

While both honor our military personnel, the former is a day to remember and pay respect to all the men and women that died serving our country in a war, while Veterans Day is to celebrate the soldiers who are still alive and served in the forces at anytime, during peace or war.

How to show honor:

• Visit a wounded veteran at the hospital.
• Offer your home repair skills to a veteran or military family.
• Volunteer your financial, legal, or career expertise.
• Deliver a meal or care packages to veterans.
• Help a veteran tell their story through a project such as the Veteran's History Project.

Reflection: I think that it is very necessary to honor veterans day. If you fought in the war you would appreciate it too. Saying thank you and honoring the veterans is the least we could do.Veterans have risked their lives to protect our freedom and we owe them.

       What this quote means to me is that there are three keys to living life with integrity. What the first key means to me is to be courageous enough to say no when its wrong. If something is wrong and you are being pressured, have the courage to say no. What the second key means to me is to have enough courage to know what is right and what is wrong; to face the truth. If you were pressured into doing something and don't realize its wrong, have the courage to face the truth and say no. Do the right thing because it is right means to do right no matter what. If something is right, you do it. If someone has integrity they will never do wrong, they're dependable, and they will always come through.

       What this quote means to me is if you walk with the wise you'll be wise. If you walk with the fools you'll be a fool. This is important because the people around you have an impact on how you act. The people you have around you make you who you are. If you hang with the wrong people you'll get distracted from your goals. If you hang out with the wise they'll push you to complete the goals you had in life. If you hang out with the wise, you'll want to be as good and you'll start to do better towards your goals. However, if you hang out with fools you'll stoop down to their level and you'll get distracted from your studies

Vanguard vs. Gainesville

       What this video was about was a prison school that had a basketball team with no fans. With extremely good behavior, you were allowed to leave a few times a year. Vanguard tried to cancel because of that but the game still happened. Most Vanguard fans cheered for Gainesville and that surprised everyone playing and they had a good game. This proves to me that doing good is the best recreation and you can still have fun while doing it.

       What this quote means to me is that the best kind of recreation is to do good. Doing good doesn't require people to pay or anything. Doing good isn't seasonal like going to a pool or fishing. You can do good at anytime and without cost. This is why doing good is the best recreation.
